Mike's Review of Rising Tide: Dark Innocence by Claudette Melanson

Bravo Ms. Melanson - 5/5 Stars

So...I desperately wanted Maura to eat somebody. That being said, I was completely surprised by how much it didn't bother me when she didn't. Ms. Melanson did a superb job of weaving the challenges a coming of age vampire might face into the real-life dilemmas of an awkward teenager who never really fit in. I really cared about what happened to Maura and wanted to know where she would end up. Bravo Ms. Melanson.

I did thoroughly enjoy this story. However, I really, really, really hope she eats somebody in the next story...or at least nips a neck or two.
